2.Structural hardware advantage
54-qubit Crystal 54 superconducting device with full square-lattice connectivity and ~99.5% two-qubit gate fidelity — higher fidelity and 2.7x the qubits of Garnet at a near-identical per-shot rate. The square lattice natively supports surface-code error correction.
3.Position in the 2026 stack
Production, mid-to-large scale. Emerald is IQM's larger Braket system, hosted in the EU (Stockholm) region alongside Garnet; the two run about 19 hours a day. Launched on Braket July 2025.
